Ancient Irish tradition tells us that there are three strains of music mirroring the three seasons that ever turn to keep our world in balance: the music of sadness, as the rains water the earth; the music of joy, felt in the warmth of growth and harvest; and Su'antraige, the music of rest, for in order to be strengthened and renewed all things require rest. In the lullabies, ancient, sacred, and classical music played here in a harp and flute duet, may you also find an interlude of rest and renewal.
